5305 Disruptive Innovation Plan
Many students who have a learning disability in special education classes spend their day inside the same classroom with the same students and teachers five days a week, eight hours a day. They are hardly ever allowed to go to Specials (art, music, p.e.) and/or participate in activities outside of their classroom. SpEd students are also the only community that isn’t utilizing technology as much as general education. I have decided to come up with an Innovation Proposal that can allow SpEd students to combine both.

Literature Review
While researching about special education and the traditional face-to-face classrooms, I was surprised to find out that funding for SpEd students using technology has been around since 1997 under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. My Literature Review can be found at the link below.

Implementation Outline
I am happy to share with you the two-year Implementation outline that I have for SpEd students learning from inclusion classrooms and technology. In my outline, I have included the overall goal, my call to action, and any materials I would need. As time goes on, I will be editing my outline as I trial and error.
Annotated Bibliography
As I continue my research on SpEd students using blended learning, I have created a list of books and articles that I found supportive. The list will continue to grow as I continue researching the benefits technology can have on Special Education students learning. You can find my annotated bibliography here.
