Embracing Change

Change is happening every day in the educational world. Technology has been a part of that major change. The 20th century did not have much technology and everything was pen and paper. The difference between the 20th and 21st centuries is we actually want the kids to connect the dots now than back then. The 20th century wanted kids to just pass standardized tests whereas in the 21st century we want the kids to know what they are learning and what they can do. The 21st century is more engaging and collaborating with one another and the 20th century did not care for their learning.

Visiting 60 schools give you more insight into how everyone is learning and how education is evolving. Because one school is so far in advanced does not mean another school is also. Also, it can help you get more strategies and resources to pass on to other schools.
