New Culture of Learning

Rather we know it or not. We learn new things all day everyday, if you go to sleep at night and you haven’t learned one thing, you are doing life wrong. “Creating Significant Learning Environments (CLSE)” broke down why learning environments are just as important. Students will not be able to focus in an environment with lots of distractions/ too little distractions, lots of noise/ too little noise etc. students and generations are becoming more difficult to teach and keeping them engaged is even harder. Social media and the internet has taken over the generations. To change the learning in our education system, I feel teachers need to know their students better. Finding out what they are passionate about and their interest and incorporating that into lessons will make students more engaged and eager to learn. I agree with Dr. Tony on how you have to make your lessons versatile to all students. Considering their background, the support you'll give, the environment they come from and the one you make for them all comes into consideration. But also like Dr. Tony said, we can provide all the resources and tools they need but students have to want to learn and have to want to grow.
