Promoting Alternative PL

Professional Learner should be more about teachers getting up and modeling new ideas they can implement in their classrooms. Just like students, teachers do not want to sit and be lectured to. Nancy Duarte's message should have spoken volume to all educators who want to succeed during and after PL. By overcoming ineffective communication, the ideas that live in us should be shared with everyone on your team if you know it will benefit the students. Effective communication such as, pronouncing words right, using them correctly, not talking too fast or too slow, and also LISTENING. I believe as educators, we can get anyone to be open to change, if explained and communicated properly. I believe I am not a good story teller but I do have my ways with examples. Examples are as good as storytelling because it can show real world scenarios. Using examples and storytelling is effectively communicating with your students because they might relate to it at the end.
